When hiking in the mountains, the tour often starts in the valley below. An hour-long ascent is not very attractive for the little hikers - they prefer to romp, run and play in the great outdoors. The family “flies” up the mountain on Nassfeld: with the Millennium Express cable car, the Gartnerkofel or the Madritschen chairlift, the entire family is in the middle of a mountain adventure in no time. And while the parents finally enjoy the long-awaited view and the fresh mountain air, numerous attractions await the children.
On the adventure playground "In the realm of the wild gang", the little holidaymakers solve exciting tasks in the footsteps of smugglers in order to solve the riddle surrounding the "Pramollo Wild gang". Always at your side: the comic heroes Fix & Foxi. On the mountain playground "Almrausch" at the mountain station of the Gartnerkofel chairlift, the kids romp on a huge adventure area with eight stations. They meet the good-natured "Almrausch", a mysterious hermit, animal lover and protector of nature.
Slightly older adventurers whiz down with the "Pendolino", the longest summer toboggan run in Carinthia, from the top station of the Millennium Express down to the cheese dairy on the Tressdorfer Alm Mile has to be overcome for kids.
At the "Däumling" via ferrata, Nassfeld visitors can then crown the bravest family member: a via ferrata with 150 meters of altitude awaits near the Gartnerkofel. The swaying, 40-meter-long Nepal Bridge, which can be crossed, hangs under the ascent for the climbers. Pure Adrenaline!
The Aqua Trail is suitable for families with small children: the adventure trail suitable for prams starts at the top station of the Millennium Express and leads over 1.5 kilometers past numerous adventure stations to a mountain lake. At 1,900 meters above sea level, the youngest try their hand at dam construction or board a real sailing boat. Thanks to many rest areas, grandma and grandpa can go out with their grandchildren and enjoy the mountains while their parents work out, for example, on the Carnic High Trail. If you can't get enough of the cool water, you can visit the "Realm of the Sea Witch" with the family. On the approximately 2,400 m² natural playground, children discover the lake witch's habitat between grasses and reeds directly on Lake Pressegger - by the way, Lake Pressegger See becomes the warmest bathing lake in Carinthia in summer with up to 28 degrees.
